Welcome
Hunting country extends east from Tulla to Feakle,
Mount Shannon, Whitegate and on to the Galway border. It stretches
all the way south along the shore of Lough Derg through Killaloe
and on to Clonlara. West of Clonlara it takes in Parteen and
Broadford to the north thence to O’Callaghan’s Mills
and back to Tulla. With the Slieve Bernagh Mountain in the middle
of the hunting country over looking Lough Derg, the East Clare
country encompasses some of the most spectacular country in Ireland.
Visitors have often confessed to being awe struck by the views.
The terrain is quite mixed with stone walls and banks, high and
low country, drains and hedge ditches. There is something to
suit all tastes and abilities.
